In a Christian school music celebrates and encourages the gifts which are God-given. It is used as means of worship, praise and thanksgiving and to celebrate the nature and love of God.
Students have many opportunities to perform for our school community throughout the year.
The music program at Plenty Valley Christian College offer classroom music from Prep through to VCE. Students elect to study Music from Year 9. Those who elect music at Year 10 have the opportunity to complete the certificate III upon completion of their Year 11. This is an approved Vocational Educational Training course and also goes towards their VCE Certificate. VCE Music students also have the opportunity to complete a Solo or Group Performance Course in Year 12.

We encourage students to participate in external A.M.E.B. and A.N.Z.C.A. exams, both pratical and theory.
Students are encouraged to be actively involved in school ensembles and band. Our band program continues to grow and includes semester and whole year programs to suit the needs and interests of our students.
