Solar Power

The College has installed a Solar Power system thanks to funding from the Commonwealth Government and the National Grants Institute (NGI). In full sunlight it will generate 5,000 watts of electrical power which is feed into the College power system. When fully operational a monitoring facility will enable students and staff to view the current status of the system and how much power is being generated. It also has a connection to the mains power meters which allow the monitoring the total power consumption of the College. This data will allow graphing power use levels and trends.
