Victorian Youth Prayer Breakfast

Bright and early at 6:15 AM in the morning, 14 members of the College’s senior student leadership body met to attend the annual Victorian Youth Prayer Breakfast. The event proved to be well worth the early start; it was an extremely uplifting and edifying experience – one not easily forgotten. With fantastic food to vitalise our minds, we were presented with a powerful message from the guest speaker, Amy Lockwood, challenging us to know where our trust lies and to understand who we truly are. The Breakfast also enabled us to meet with student leaders from other Christian schools from around the state; sharing in prayer, fellowship and worship with them. Overall the Victorian Youth Prayer Breakfast 2008 was a memorable time for all College senate members, and I’m sure this is an event that will be eagerly anticipated for many years to come.
