EISM Division 2 Champions!

Wow! What a wonderful way to spend a Tuesday afternoon!! 50 PVCC students, 4 staff and many parents were witnesses to a great sporting spectacle at Nunawading Pool on March 11. In only our second year in Division 2 PVCC finished in first place, making us eligible for Division 1 in 2009! Many thanks to our loyal and motivated year 12 swimmers who competed in their 6th and final carnival; Abbey Selick, Marita Sellick, Amanda Rofe, Joshua Chapman and Shane Barnes. They have been outstanding role models and leaders both in and out of the pool. A huge thankyou to Ros and Rob Sellick who have faithfully officialled and supported PVCC at many carnivals over the years. Our students were cheered on by a terrific group of
parents, thankyou! Congratulations to every member of the squad whose participation resulted in this fine result for our community. A particular thankyou to Caitlin Lambourn and Liz Flack who were invaluable as officials all day, along with Mrs Padget and Mr Tehan who were our staff officials in check starting and announcing.

EISM CHAMPIONS CARNIVAL
Congratulations to the following students who have qualified to compete at the 2008 EISM Champions Carnival at MSAC on April 9. The swimmers/relay swimmers with the top ten times from the three carnivals (comprising 21 schools) have been selected. Letters have been sent home. Please reply asap.
